Unique Photo Portraits | Denver Area
Getting a portrait done by me is a whole lot easier than through a traditional studio. Why? Because I don't shoot in a studio.
My portraits are done on location (that location could be anywhere depending on what we're going for). This allows for a much more relaxed and fun atmosphere and in my opinion, better results. There are of course drawbacks to shooting outside the studio but I think the results are worth the price.
So let me provide a unique portrait experience for weddings, graduations, kids, lovers (or fighters). A quality portrait is an investment for life. Remember you will never be this age again.
Legacy Portraits
As the name implies, these portraits are more about who you are than what you look like. When doing my Legacy Portraits I try to integrate your portrait with backgrounds and images which represent the type of life you have lived (or the type of life you wish to live).
For example, in the piece below Kelsi had been raised on her family's ranch in Southern Colorado below the peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains . She now goes to college here in Denver, but wanted a personalized portrait which represented the rural life she grew up with. I did a short painless photo shoot right in her home. Then integrated that image with a couple of photos her family had sent of their land and horses. I used heavy texturing and blending, giving the image a "vintage look" reflecting the four generations Kelsi's family has worked this land. Finally the ranch logo was brought into the picture and there we have it.
No boring "JC Penny" portraits here. This is more than a portrait. It's a work of art which you can proudly hang on your wall and pass to generations to come.
