Illiterate Gallery announced that in March 2011 it will be participating in the Month of Photography in Denver, Colorado with an exhibition titled The Big Picture. This show of grand scale contemporary photography exposes the possibility of images as information instantly exchanged and blown up to large proportions. Seems like everyone now days has a Facebook page to promote their business or passion or hobby.  Particularly people like photographers and artists who tend to be a bit short on cash right?  And why shouldn’t they?  It’s quick, easy, free and everyone seems to be on Facebook (in fact FaceBook “pages” do not even require people to have a FB account to view them).   However, the downside to all this is a web page that is very “un artist” and “un photographer”.  It’s lacking any design quality or artistic expression.  Not what most artists want.
