Aurora Theater Shooting Memorial – 7 Days Later

Seven days after the Aurora Cinema 16 theater shooting in Colorado, the mourners continue to visit the growing memorial across the street. Near 100 degree heat did not keep the community from showing up for the one week anniversary of the slayings.

These symbolic graves are part of an ever growing memorial which has sprung up across the street from the theater where the shootings took place.

One week after the mass shooting by James Holmes in Aurora Colorado, the Century 16 theater is still closed down and sectioned off with police tape. Flowers left from the day one of the shooting still lie in the grass outside the theater.
